The fruit grower’s nature is a peculiar one. At first, we eagerly anticipate the apple harvest, but once it begins, we’re anxious for it to end.

THE AUTUMN HARVEST – A TURBULENT TIME

It’s another month of hard work in the orchard. Harvesting is seemingly the most pleasant part of the production cycle, but it can also be quite tumultuous.

The time of hard work begins.

Once again, harvest time is fast approaching. It is probably the most challenging period in the entire annual production cycle.

Another harvest is coming up

Some fruit growers have already started harvesting summer apple varieties, but there are none on my farm, so we will still have to wait a while for the harvest.

And it all starts again. With spring, every fruit grower feels that he is living in a cycle with nature.

Autumn

Autumn is already here. This year the leaves have turned yellow exceptionally early, and it is still warm, so we can enjoy the beautiful sights of the golden autumn in Poland. Another harvest is finally behind us.

Harvest time

Harvest proceeds as planned. This year, the weather was generous, and the apple trees bore a crop of luscious and beautiful fruit. The yield is satisfactory, and the quality of the apples is very high.

Finally, the moment we’ve been waiting for

At last, the longed-for moment for every fruit grower has arrived; that is, the apple harvest has begun. As usual in our orchard, we start with a variety that is probably known to everyone in the world, namely Gala.

Time of growth

Time flies inexorably. This can be seen from the growth of fruit on the trees. According to preliminary calculations, the harvest in our orchard will begin in early September.

Vacation… what vacation?!

“Vacation… what vacation?! We decided to take a week-long family trip outside our wonderful country, but we keep thinking about home. The concern for plantation welfare is several times greater – the further away we are, the more we worry.

A lot is going on

As I mentioned before, spring is a busy orchard time. A lot is going on. Everyone probably thinks bees usually fly around pollinating flowers in orchards, but there is more to life besides bees.

This season

This season, the weather conditions during bloom were nearly ideal. Not too cold, not too warm. Maybe a tad too dry, but we can actually expect a bountiful harvest in the fall.

The Spring

Spring is perhaps the busiest time of year for all farmers, including fruit growers. Nature is awakening to life. The orchards are getting greener and greener until the most beautiful time comes – the blooming.
